Dependant on client assessment but £18.00 per hour minimum (includes mileage)

Expertise

My interests and expertise are working on a 1-to-1 basis with clients with challenging behaviours and with meeting individual needs. I can communicate with people on different levels and offer support. I enjoy gardening, outdoor activities and animals (dog walking, etc). I like DIY projects and property maintenance. I love travelling and have escorted clients on cruises

Experience

I’m a mother of two grown-up sons and have travelled widely. I’ve lived in East Sussex since leaving school. In terms of experience, I have spent 25 years working in the care sector. I have worked in dementia care, respite care, with the terminally ill, with adults with challenging behaviour and children with emotional and behaviour problems. I also have community and outreach experience.

Background

I have completed NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (children and young people)
I have completed NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
I’ve worked as a Team Leader and Senior in many different roles.
I’ve completed a vast amount of care-based training and will continue to do so.
