I have worked for ESCC in Adult Social Care as a Resource Officer for the past 8 years. It has been a privilege to work with adults diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health problems. I have worked with all age groups from young adults to older people. This has been a rewarding role and I would now like to spend more time with clients supporting them to achieve their goals and help them to maintain their independence in the community.

I believe it is important to maintain a person centred approach and ensure the wishes and preferences of my clients are respected. The client really is the most important person when considering appropriate care.

I have an elderly mother diagnosed with advanced Dementia and have organised appropriate care to maintain her safety. I understand the stress and difficulty of the caring role.

My daughters complain they have inherited my wide feet but it means we are all good swimmers…heyho always a silver lining.

There is nothing better than walking my working cocker spaniel in the beautiful Sussex countryside to unwind and recharge the batteries.

Family time is important to me. I have 3 amazing grandsons. Time together is the best thing in the world.
