Health and Social Care and Dementia.

I have spent the last 5 years working in Health and Social Care. I have held the position of Deputy Manager for a large successful domiciliary care provider within East Sussex and managed the service provision within East Sussex for Alzheimer's Society, providing specialist dementia care to those living within the community. I have extensive knowledge of dementia both professionally and personally. I believe in providing a person centred approach and individual choice. I have a wide knowledge of services available to support people's independence and have the skills to provide access advice on other multidisciplinary agencies. I believe passionately in people being able to stay in control of their lives and to remain as independent for as long as possible and very much want to provide the support and assistance to help achieve this.
