I have spent the last 9 years working in Health and Social Care. I have held the position of Deputy Manager for a large successful domiciliary care provider within East Sussex and managed the East Sussex service provision for Alzheimer's Society, providing specialist dementia care to those living within the community. I have extensive knowledge of dementia both professionally and personally. I believe in providing a person centred approach and individual choice. I have a wide knowledge of services available to support people's independence and have the skills to provide access advice on other multidisciplinary agencies. I believe passionately in people being able to stay in control of their lives and to remain as independent for as long as possible. I very much want to be a part of providing the support and assistance to help achieve this.
