Here is a List of Services I currently offer:

I am a micro provider that offers a mentoring , advocacy and support service for adults from 18 years. Bespoke, highly tailored one to one support packages to give the individual control and choice. To include support in life skills, confidence building and help to achieve goals and aspirations. social opportunities and access to employment and education. Packages will also support individual needs ranging from support with accessing healthcare professionals, light domestic duties to being an outlet, offering support and guidance and promoting wellbeing.

Availability

Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00 Evenings 17.00 - 22.00 Sundays 11.00 - 18.00

Charging and related information

One to one support packages individually tailored to start from:
£14 per hour (Monday to Friday)
£18 per hour (Evenings from 17.00, Weekends and Bank Holidays)
(Mileage whilst with the client is charged at 45p per mile)

Expertise

Extensive knowledge of Picture Exchange System to support communication and language barriers. Positive Behaviour Support to positively reduce challenging pressures. In depth knowledge of Autism and positively engaging individuals in tasks/activities. Interest and experience in visually impaired.

Experience

Six years working with vulnerable adults within the NHS, a charitable organisation and a private healthcare service. Extensive knowledge and experience of complex cases, challenging moods and Mental Health.

Background

I have training, knowledge and in depth understanding of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities from my role as a Senior Support Worker. Trained in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), qualified to QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Extensive knowledge of Picture Exchange System (PECS) and use of communication systems. Certificates in First Aid and basic resuscitation, Food Hygiene, Mental Health Act, Epilepsy, Medication training and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults. Knowledge and experience of PEG feed/care and tracheotomy. Understanding of environmental issues surrounding visually impaired individuals.
