Charging and related information

£20.00 per hour 8-5
£22.00 outside of these hours
£25 per hour weekends
Minimum 2 hour booking
Mileage 45p per mile. Inclusive of travel of a 5-mile radius to and from the clients home, thereafter 45p per mile. Services that incur travelling will be charged at 45p per mile.
Additional expenses i.e. car parking, entry fees will also be payable by client.

Expertise

In depth personal knowledge and experience of type one diabetes (pump and multi injections) and Multiple Sclerosis.
Life is for living and when there are challenges, thinking outside the box and being creative are key to ensuring one can live to the full.
Personally, I love country life, animals, sports, socialising and music festivals.

Experience

Over twenty years working for East Sussex learning disability team promoting independent living skills. Ten years working in housing and tenancy support, working with people with complex needs.
In addition, I have done voluntary work for a charity offering telephone support to those affected by other peoples drug use, primarily those living with a drug user.

Background

Over 35years experience working in various social care roles including but not exclusively learning disabilities, domestic abuse, mental health, substance and alcohol misuse, tenancy support, elderly and dementia care.
