£15 per hour & travel 45p per mile.

Expertise

I have worked with people with complex communication needs & have used alternative methods of communication including Makaton sign language, signs, symbols, objects of reference & Intensive Interaction.

I have Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, and have experience of teaching skills, learning support and skills development.

I also have experience of developing & following Support Plans, Care Plans, Learning Plans and Person Centred Plans.

Experience

I have over 35 years’ experience of working with people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, learning disability/early onset dementia, autism & dual diagnosis. I also have knowledge & experience of dealing with health conditions such as epilepsy & diabetes.

I have worked closely with parents, carers and professionals from Health and Adult Social Care services & other agencies from the private & voluntary sector in order to provide a service tailored to meet an individual’s needs.
